MCA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NAMED TO BILLINGS BUSINESS' 40 UNDER 40
Billings, Mont., ~ Jeremy Seidlitz, Executive Director of the Montana Cattlemen's Association (MCA) was named one of Billings' 40 business professionals under the age of 40 by Billings Business-a publication of the Billings Gazette. 2008 marks the seventh edition of 40 Under 40 in Billings which was created to recognize the contributions that young professionals and entrepreneurs have in the Billings community. "Jeremy was only 29 when we hired him," said Kim Baker, MCA Vice President. "He sure hit the ground running, and has been a big part of the success of MCA over the past year-and-a-half."
More than 130 folks were nominated for the award in 2008, yet Jeremy is the only representative from Montana's agricultural community.
"It is quite a juxtaposition to receive an award in Billings, a city, for representing the interests of rural Montana. It is true that agriculture is still Montana's number one industry," noted Seidlitz. "It is an honor to be nominated; I truly appreciate the recognition by my peers."
